First Congregational Church of San Francisco
In response to the First Church fire, our sister churches in the Northern California Conference have organized two benefit concerts featuring a wide range of performers to help with the recovery.
The first will take place at First Congregational Church of San Francisco (1300 Polk Street, SF) on Saturday, November 19 at 6 pm.
The concerts were initiated by Roy Mosley, the Moderator of the Conference with organizing help from Dick Hom.
Featured artists include:
Rev. Curran Reichert, singer & pastor of First Congregational UCC, Sonoma
Uklele Club of Chinatown & Ukulele Guild for God, a nationally recognized group from San Francisco
Praise Team, First Congregational Samoan Church of Alameda/Oakland
Rev. Melinda McLain, pianist, singer and pastor of Mira Vista UCC
The DulTones, ?The Only All Male/All Chinese Doo Wop Group You Will Ever Google" from San Francisco
Ambassadors for Change, City of Refuge UCC of Oakland
Barbara Hamm, composer and singer
Amy Ukena, jazz singer from Mira Vista UCC
Tickets are $25 suggested donation per person or $20 per person for two or more.
Checks can be made out to ?Northern California Nevada Conference? with ?FCCB donation? in the memo line and sent to the Conference Office at 401 Roland Circle #216, Oakland, CA 94621.
The second concert will be held at Lake Park United Methodist Church (281 Santa Clara Avenue, Oakland) on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 6 pm.
