Join First Church member Joanne Brown to write?as the poet Rainer Maria Rilke exhorted?about your sorrows, your wishes, your passing thoughts, your belief in anything beautiful.
This workshop uses the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) method to enable the artist in each of us to become freer and more able to write. You?ll write with others, share in-group writing, and receive feedback about what?s strong in your writing. You will learn much from each other and have fun while you're doing it!
9 Mondays: September 9 - November 4, 6-8:30 or 9 pm with a generous break and delicious snacks
First Church's Durant House (2330 Durant Avenue)
Open to the public with room for 12 participants
$225 or scholarship available

?My experience of Joanne?s group was joyful. ? I?d recommend it to anyone who wants unabashed fun as well as mutual trust and creativity in a writing group.?
