Preliminary results of the Affordable Housing Survey are in. Almost 260 responses were submitted in response to a variety of communications over the course of about two weeks.
On the question "Should the consideration of building an affordable housing project stop, pause or continue?" 29.6% responded "stop," 24.5% responded "pause," and 45.9% responded "continue." Although the precise percentages may change slightly as the results are verified, they are not likely to change appreciably.
A full report of the survey will be submitted to Church Council. It will be their responsibility to discern the next steps at their meeting on Tuesday, March 27.
