New Visioning Team to Explore Rebuilding Options

Interested in serving?

At its meeting December 20, Church Council approved the formation of a new ad-hoc committee ? the ?Blue Sky Visioning Team.? This team will be charged with facilitating a broadly congregational process to envision how Pilgrim Hall will be shaped for the future and to synthesize those visions into workable plans.

The committee will also work closely with the Fire Recovery Committee to assess the viability of options based on construction costs, building codes and other regulations. Ultimately, plans for rebuilding will be brought to the congregation for a vote.

The Team will consist of 9?12 congregation members representing the demographic range of our community. A slate will be recommended by the church officers and Senior Minister Molly Baskette to be voted on by the Church Council at its January 17 meeting. It's expected that the team will meet regularly and frequently during its estimated 5 month term.

If you are interested in serving on the Blue Sky Visioning Team and can make the commitment of time expected, please email Moderator Amy Hiestand (amyh3167@yahoo.com) or Molly Baskette (mbaskette@fccb.org) by January 10, 2017. Say a little bit about yourself and why you are interested in serving in this way. Newer and younger members are particularly invited to consider this opportunity.
