As First Church Berkeley considers an affordable housing project on its property, the church is holding a series of meetings to discuss issues that would need to be considered in the process. On Sunday, November 19, about 60 people attended a meeting to discuss how a building project would affect parking since the likely location of a project is currently part of the church's parking lot.
Members of the Blue Sky Team that are working on this issue shared information and a lively discussion ensued covering parking concerns and other issues.
Additional conversations have been scheduled on other aspects of the proposed plan.
