As we continue to appreciate our new worship location at Congregational Beth El (1301 Oxford Street near Rose in Berkeley) while the Sanctuary is being restored, here are some helpful resources to getting there and finding your way around.
Congregation Beth El has an agreement with their neighbors to minimize the use of neighborhood parking spots and their won't be too many spots in the Beth El parking lot.First Church has received permission to park on Sunday mornings in the CVS lot at Shattuck and Rose and in the Gordon Realty lot at Center and Rose. Here is a map of the Beth El neighborhood showing the location of those two parking lots.
Those with mobility concerns can be dropped off near the north end of the Beth El building where there is accessible entrance.
Check out this carpooling spreadsheet where you can list your ability to offer a ride to church or back or find a ride. It can be updated each week. The third tab in the spreadsheet provides valuable public transit information.
Want to know your way around the Beth El? Check out these maps of both the upper and lower level of the main Beth El buildings which will show you where we worship, gather for our after-church feast, have adult education and where children's Sunday School classes will be.
